Please take a few minutes to read through our shipping FAQ's to familiarize yourself with our policies and methods. This will ensure that your order proceeds smoothly and arrives in a timely manner!

Shipping for most of the items we offer is included with the purchase price of the item and this is generally indicated below the Add To Cart or Buy Now button as shipping included.

Nearly every item we sell will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail which in most cases has a delivery time of 2 - 3 days. In addition, when we ship your order, you will receive a tracking number via email from the USPS (if you have provided us with a valid email address with your order). Using this service, we can ship your order quicker than using FedEx or UPS because of our location.

In some instances, we will ship either UPS or FedEx at our discretion if pre-arranged prior to the payment for your order. Please know and understand that by using either of these two services requires an additional fee and service charge for handling and transportation.

Jams, Jellies and Syrups

These products specifically will be shipped via USPS Regular Priority Mail or USPS Flat Rate Priority Mail and there are certain criteria that must be met with each order. Single jar orders will be shipped via Regular Priority Mail, Multiple jar orders will be shipped via Flat Rate Priority Mail. Because of the weight and fragile nature of these items, there is just no getting around this, and they ship much safer using these options.

A typical breakdown of shipping Jams, Jellies and Syrups is as follows:

  • 1 - 16 ounce jar - Regular Priority Mail at $6.75 (not recommended)
  • 1 - 8 ounce jar - Regular Priority Mail at $6.75 (not recommended)
  • 2 to 4 - 16 ounce jars - Flat Rate Priority Mail at $11.35 (a better value in shipping)
  • 5 to 9 - 16 ounce jars - Large Flat Rate Priority Mail at $15.45 (a better value in shipping)
  • 2 to 6 - 8 ounce jars - Flat Rate Priority Mail at $11.35 (a better value in shipping)
  • 7 to 12 - 8 ounce jars - Large Flat Rate Priority Mail at $15.45 (a better value in shipping)
Order Insurance

If your order contains more than one fragile item such as jams, jellies or syrups, insurance is recommended but optional. For each Flat Rate Priority Mail box shipped, the average insurance cost is $2.00. Please know that we cannot be responsible for product damage on uninsured orders. If your order is insured, we will work with you to obtain a refund and product replacement if available at the time. All insured order matters will be handled via the USPS insurance guidelines.

Overnight, Next Day and Express Mail Order

In some cases, you may want to order an item and request quicker than usual delivery. For these types of orders, we cannot offer free shipping and request that the customer pay the additional shipping costs to ensure timely delivery to meet their expectations. Delivery Times

Your order will be shipped from one of the following locations: Ordway or La Junta, Colorado. For orders other than Express, Overnight, Rush, or Priority Mail, delivery times of 3 to 5 days should be expected, based upon your location from our point of origin. Books and media orders may take up to 10 days as they are shipped U.S.P.S. Media Mail unless specified otherwise.

Support, Inquiries, Order Reconciliation & More

We strive to please our customers. Each order is packed and handled with the utmost care. If you receive a defective product (not damaged during shipping), please let us know and we will do our best to correct the situation immediately. We also try to provide support in the manner of help, articles, tips or tricks, or resources and references to such help.

If you have placed an order and have not received a response within 24 - 48 hours, we ask that you use our Web Support feature. Also, if you have placed an order, received an initial response regarding your order, but have not received your shipment within a reasonable amount of time, please use the Web Support feature or, use the tracking number provided (if applicable) to inquire at the UPS, FEDEX or U.S.P.S. web site.
