Due to popular demand and an increasing number of requests to provide animal feed grade Vitamin C, I am happy to announce that I now have this product available.

While the use and popularity of Vitamin C has been popularized by Pat Coleby in the book Natural Goat Care, Natural Horse Care, and Natural Cattle Care, it is recommended that you do some research and/or consult a veterinarian before using this product at will.

Sold under the brand name Rovimix® C-EC, this is a white to slightly yellowish powder, consisting of ascorbic acid coated with ethyl cellulose. The specific Ascorbic Acid content is rated at 97.5% (on dry material) and is rated at 0.1% maximum loss on drying. Specified for use in animal nutrition in a premix or mash and mildly pelleted compound feeds for land based animals.

Rovimix® C-EC is fairly stable to air if protected from humidity, but is somewhat sensitive to heat. The product may be stored for at least 24 months from the date of manufacture/packaging when the unopened container is kept at a temperature below 25 degrees Celsius. The "best used before" date is indicated on package. Keep package tightly closed when not in use.
